Take several Hollywood disaster movies, Volcano, The Poseiden Adventure, Earthquake, Sunami, any airplane crash movie, a government cover up conspiracy theory, a family in flight, mix it with a cast of great veteran actors and every 2012 prophecy; put it on the barbecue pit for 3 hours and what do you get? A blockbuster hit movie with every special effect you have ever seen juiced with the latest film technology. Fast paced and dramatic entertainment that is a roller coaster of adventure, fear and loving. The government man doing the wrong thing and the common man doing the right thing. Great entertaiment with very little real science in the outcome. Like Noah said "You better wake up if you don't wanna get stuck in this zoo. Cause the boats leavin' the dock and it won't wait around for you."   Must see but don't drink the Kool Aid!! *****

This is not a confession that I am retarded, but I did go see 2012 a couple weeks ago. It is not nearly the stinking turd that 10,000BC was (which I saw
on cable, when I was home sick, and couldn't find the remote). If I rated movies based on the number of times I said "oh puhleese!" or any variant of
the phrase, this movie would get at least a 15. Based on the number of times I said it out loud, it gets a 2. It would probably rate higher had I seen it
at a Magic Johnson theater. Kinky Boots was good as the scientist. Wish he was the main character, rather than Lloyd Dobler. Worth seeing for the
over-the-top destruction, and I had a good time.

It was a bomb! Or should I say it is the Bomb. Depends on whether you want to see the most shit blown up ever in a movie. They did a great job at that. I'm thinking they released this too early and it will get left behind the movies that come out before the end....I give it 3 Moons out of 5 for those crazy enough to be reading this and it may be a must see for you Doomers.
