The Short Spin on 2012 and the End of Times (Y2K12)

If it is news to you that theories abound that the world ends on December 21, 2012; then you need to catch up fast. Think of this as the Y2K of end of times predictions. It is deemed Y2K12. I'd watch the UR History Channel shows about the Mayan Calendar and Nostradamus. You will either crack up laughing, like we did, or you need to hang out at the scary apocalyptic websites and start freaking out.

The only thing that does bother me a little is the number of different indicators that are pointing to 12/21/12. It's all about the calendars being based on the 12 Zodiac constellations movement thru the sky. "We" are completing the 26,000 year rotation thru them and are back to where these calendars began. It's the began part that scares me, as these theories must be on the same page of when it began. How the hell did people that long ago know enough to figure all this out, without divine intervention. They mostly predict doom and gloom at the end of these calendars, but wouldn't you do the same at the "end" of your calendar? Hopefully it's just that these calendars are rolling over, but I plan to be on a boat with friends partying heavily on the Winter Solstice of 2012! Party Like It's the End of Times.....

EoT Indicators

There are a number of indicators that the End of Times is imminent and many scenarios as to what may cause it. The most important indicators are the Mayan Calendar, The Bible and Nostradamus.

The Mayan Calendar

The Mayans were experts at planetary movement and have a decent record of using their calendar to predict the future. The Mayans used a 360 day calendar wheel aligned with a gestation based 260 day calendar wheel and combined that with planetary movements to predict the future states of the universe. The last prediction period ends on the Winter Solstice of 2012. This last period indicates doom and gloom for mankind. The Mayan Calendar shows things spinning out of control in 2012, not unlike the Bibles view on things pre-apocalypse. On December 21, 2012 Galactic Alignment occurs, with the Sun, Moon and the middle of the Milky Way all in alignment. This alignment may cause problems for the earth: sun spots, magnetic pole reversals, core wobble, super volcanoes, floods, famine, weakened gravity allowing asteroids/comets to penetrate the atmosphere, dogs loving cats... It is debated whether this is the last period ever or whether the calendar wheel starts over. It may not be the end of earth’s time, but it sure may be mankind’s, getting devastated like the dinosaurs. By the way, the beginning of the Mayan Calendar shows the universe to be barely developing....or maybe redeveloping.

The Bible
The Bible indicates that Armageddon is to occur after the Rapture and the Third Anti-Christ come. Monitoring the rise of the Third Anti-Christ is one indicator to watch. It is believed that the first two Anti-Christs were Napoleon and Hitler. The Third Anti-Christ is supposed to facilitate a 3 1/2 year peace with Israel and Muslims, will be a man of color and not from the U.S. - enough said....You'll know when the Rapture comes, but it will be a little late to change your plans if you were hoping to leave the turmoil behind. The indicator the Rapture is imminent is, like the Mayans, things spinning out of control! This time it is sin spinning out of control, you know, like sex, theft, murder......picture a vortex of water spinning thru a funnel and think of sin spinning thru society. Have you watched TV lately?

Nostradamus

One of the greatest seers of all times. Nostradamus proves his meddle by seeing Napoleon, Hitler, the Kennedy's and 911 in his predictions leading up to the End of Times. His drawings show mans book of fate being blank when we hit the galactic alignment. Like the Mayans, he sees floods, famine and strife.
